Stamps.com requires a month-long subscription, and I just want to print out a piece of postage to stick on a package instead of having to deal with a big ugly label or a buttload of stickers.
Someone please help.
and by small i mean small. i don’t want a shipping label with names, i need POSTAGE only.

i might have paid too little to ship an item i sold through ebay and already sent, what can i do to fix this?

hello,

well i sold a book through media mail that i thought cost .55 to send, but i might need to pay a few cents more. i paid for the postage online and printed the shipping label at my house. i believe i miscalculated a few ounces so if i did i need to pay {content}.20 more. i sent it on thursday (today is sunday) and all it says in the tracking info is "electronic shipping info received", not "processed through sort facility" like another item i sent on the same day by flat rate mail.

although i highly doubt it, is there a way i can pay for more shipping even though i accidentally sent it?
if i did need to pay more for shipping, and i cannot do what i asked above, what will happen to the book? will it be sent back to my house?

on a USPS Flat rate Envelope can I tape a piece of paper on the front?

Im trying to mail something so I paid online and printed out a shipping label and on the flat rate things theres a place to write all the info well I did that, and I was wondering If I can clear tape the paper with the the pre paid postage and label on the front instead of the back (where the writing is) sorry if this is a confusing question. I can call the PO but they dont open til 2morrow.

Is there any way to pay postage trough USPS's API. I read their docs, but I don't see that I can do it.?

Hello, I do PHP programming and need to develop USPS pringing label, Address lookup and track package.

I look through USPS development document and I came up with a following question.
Can I also pay postage, not only printing shipping label?

I don’t see that the API allowed to make payment for returned data’s postage.
If so, is there any way to pay postage like ebay or PayPal?

Please some one advice.
Thank you.

USPS Question: I paid for postage online, im sending a box to someone. But it wont be 4- 4-20 weeks till maild?

Hi there. I understand that I have only 3 days to get a refund on prepaid postage that Ive paid for and printed online……(I am sending a box of items to someone out of state) they already paid me through ebay…..but the items wont be able to be shipped for another few weeks, and as far out as February 2012….(its not a typical ebay transaction, I have a relationship with this person) so I clicked ‘print shipping label’…paid for it….and printed it….. but the box wont be going out as planned…..it was printed/paid for about a week ago.

The other day I was dropping off a small/flat rate box item out to the nearest big blue USPS mailing box/bin and I got there right as the postal worker showed up. He looked at my box, and pointed out that there was printed date on the label that I had printed out……and he said "it was supposed to have shipped out this date, [and pointed to the date marked saying] they should have already gotten the package.

ALL AND ALL: what Im saying is the postal worker did not like that there was that date….SHOWING that I was DELAYED in mailing out the package……that small package was only about 4 days off from the day it was supposed to have gone out and he mentioned that….

what will happen if I try to ship a box of items with a date that’s MUCH older than a week ???? Can I hand write over that?? Can I make edits??? DID I just straight up lose my money because I waited longer than 3 days?

Do I have to pay and print a shipping label via Paypal for an Ebay item that I sold in order to clear my hold?

I have a 21 day hold on my Paypal account for 2 Ebay items that I sold. It tells me to print out a shipping label with Paypal, but the price for the label and the postage is overpriced. I was wondering if I could simply just write the name and address of the recipient? Will that still clear my hold or do I have to print with them? How do they confirm my delivery if I don’t print from their label?

How to pay for a flat rate USPS box?

Our company wants to start using the USPS flat rate shipping boxes. We don’t want to pay USPS each time over the internet to print the shipping Label. Can we use our Pintey Bowes postage machine to pay for the flat rate box?

What will USPS do if I put an item with incorrect postage in their mailbox?

I made a huge mistake. I printed out a parcel shipping label and incorrectly put it on a large envelope which I later dropped off in a USPS mailbox. I did pay for extra services however, such as insurance and confirmation of delivery. Will the USPS simply eliminate the requested services and use that money to allow my package to continue to its original destination?

Does the weight of the stamp count in the postage?

This is an actual situation: I’m sending a package via the US Post Office that weighs exactly 1.00 pounds. However, when i print out a pre-paid shipping label and stick that on, the package now weighs 1.01 pounds. Will the Post Office still deliver my package at the 1 pound rate or will they send it back to me and charge me the 2 pound rate?
for B G, i don’t appreciate your sarcastic and demeaning "answer". for anyone else who may be interested, i just took it down to the post office to check for myself. i handed it to the clerk and she weighed it and it came in at 1 lb., 0.50 oz. and the 1 lb. rate was okay. i asked her what would happen if it was just a little heavier. she put two paper clips on top and it jumped to the 2 lb. rate.

How do you ship a box via USPS with no shipping label?

I wrote my address and the recipients address on it just like a letter but how will I pay for the postage? Do you have to print a shipping label in order to pay for it? Or can you just take it to the person at the post office and then pay that person?
