hello,
well i sold a book through media mail that i thought cost .55 to send, but i might need to pay a few cents more. i paid for the postage online and printed the shipping label at my house. i believe i miscalculated a few ounces so if i did i need to pay {content}.20 more. i sent it on thursday (today is sunday) and all it says in the tracking info is "electronic shipping info received", not "processed through sort facility" like another item i sent on the same day by flat rate mail.
although i highly doubt it, is there a way i can pay for more shipping even though i accidentally sent it?
if i did need to pay more for shipping, and i cannot do what i asked above, what will happen to the book? will it be sent back to my house?

I normaly ship through USPS but they only seem to have online shipping rates for Express and Priority mail. I would like to just print postage for regular mail, as it’s much cheaper. Any help would be great. And I don’t have any access to the post office, that’s why i need to ship from home.

Hi, I’m trying to sell some items online and I was wondering how is Click N Ship used.
For Click N Ship do you have to have sticker labels when you print the postage, or do you think its okay to print it out in paper and glue it? (lol..just trying to see if I can save money..)
Also, I heard first class is cheaper than priority mail. How do you get first class boxes for shipping items?
By the way, does anyone know the best way to ship a poster? (I heard something about tubes OR triangles..)
Thank you!

Im trying to mail something so I paid online and printed out a shipping label and on the flat rate things theres a place to write all the info well I did that, and I was wondering If I can clear tape the paper with the the pre paid postage and label on the front instead of the back (where the writing is) sorry if this is a confusing question. I can call the PO but they dont open til 2morrow.

Okay, so I’m a simple Ebay seller…I’m tired of dealing directly with the USPS people, because they apparently think I "ship too much" (though I know that’s their job, yes…and the reason why they are there). They always have an attitude, and frankly, I’d like to start doing everything online.
I usually ship with delivery confirmation, which I see is available on the USPS website where you can print the postage. So it prints a barcode of some type, I tape this onto my package (small bubble wrap envelope) and put it where? Do I drop it with the general letters, or do I still have to go hand it over to one of the employees?

I’m and 16 and I’m kind of lazy to read over their agreement and I’m going to ship a book, but I was wondering if I would get in trouble if I made an account online on their website (usps.com) because I’m underage? or can I make one, even though I’m 16 and print the postage to ship my book?
Yeah, I will be using my parents credit card.

Hi. I would really like to design a media buyback website online. On this site, people would put in product names and be quoted a price that I am willing to pay them for their item. The prices would be a percentage of the used market prices provided by sites like Amazon.com and Half.com. After the seller has selected several items they would like to sell, they will be able to check out their shopping cart and set up a simple account with e-mail, contact info, location, etc. The system will then allow them to print-off prepaid postage and mail it to my address. I will also receive e-mail about the status of their order so that I can be ready to pay them via PayPal upon receipt of the item.
Does anyone has suggestions as to how to go about accomplishing a site such as this? What tools and utilities would I need to use?

Hello, I do PHP programming and need to develop USPS pringing label, Address lookup and track package.
I look through USPS development document and I came up with a following question.
Can I also pay postage, not only printing shipping label?
I don’t see that the API allowed to make payment for returned data’s postage.
If so, is there any way to pay postage like ebay or PayPal?
Please some one advice.
Thank you.
